Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team. This role requires supporting attorneys and clients throughout the legal process by coordinating with treatment providers, insurance companies, and legal professionals. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and an effective communicator, ensuring a smooth case experience from intake through resolution. This position also includes conducting legal research, preparing case files, and drafting legal documents to assist attorneys. This is a full-time, in-office role working Monday–Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients throughout the duration of their case.
- Contact clients regularly to provide updates, explain case developments, and answer questions.
- Initiate and manage client referral processes, including coordination with legal or medical professionals.
- Communicate with treatment centers to obtain medical records, treatment updates, and required documentation.
- Coordinate with insurance companies to track claim progress, submit necessary documents, and resolve delays.
- Conduct legal research on statutes, case law, and relevant regulations to support case development.
- Summarize research findings and assist in preparing reports, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Maintain accurate, well-organized case files and documentation in compliance with legal and internal standards.
- Manage and prioritize multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
- Draft, review, and proofread correspondence and legal documents with accuracy and professional tone.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and manage sensitive client and case information ethically.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and evolving caseloads with professionalism and flexibility.

- Ability to explain legal processes to clients in simple and accessible terms.
Legal Research & Technical Skills
- Ability to conduct legal research using online databases and internal legal tools.
- Familiarity with legal terminology, personal injury procedures, case law, and statutes.
- Proficiency with case management software, EMR systems, legal research platforms, and CRMs.
Professionalism & Values
- High integrity and discretion in working with sensitive or confidential information.
- Adaptability to changes in case strategy, client needs, or insurance policies.
- Client-centered, team-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, Case Manager, or similar legal support role.
- Personal injury experience strongly preferred.
- Prior experience supporting attorneys in litigation, case development, or complex claim management.
- Experience in legal, case management, healthcare administration, or insurance claims.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is a plus.
